The hotel is very nice, but today one expects free Internet service. Even economy hotels/motels provide free Internet service. Charging a fee for this service is like charging a fee for television. This practice gives the impression of squeezing every dime possible from its guests. ...read more

Had a pleasant stay in a nice room. Hotel is in a convenient location, however nothing nearby is really walkable.The front desk staff was very friendly, however the stay in the bar is not very helpful. Overall it is a nice hotel. Overcharging for every additional service. However, it has a nice Starbucks in the lobby.

Traveling as Couple
The room was cozy and inviting, but the bathroom door was curiously out of place in an otherwise lovely room. The door needed replacement, but wasn't too bad. The lighting and appliances were first-rate. The room had a fridge and the staff brought us a microwave on request. The lobby was beautifully done too. One negative is the need for a car to go anywhere -- nothing within walking distance. Hotel shuttle to metro stops at 9 pm. The metro station is less than a mile away, but the area is deserted after dark and not completely safe to walk. Taxis are readily available though. ...read more
